Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Fuzzy Thurston died Sunday. He was 80 years old.

Thurston played on five Green Bay title teams during his tenure with the Packers from 1959 through 1967. He was a guard on the line that led the patented Packers' power sweep under legendary coach Vince Lombardi.

Before joining the Packers, Thurston played four games for the Baltimore Colts during their NFL championship season of 1958. He was an All-Pro selection in 1961.
