The Green Bay Packers spent their first two picks in last year's draft on cornerbacks, coming away with Damarious Randall in the first round and Quinten Rollins in the second. Both players became major contributors as rookies.
After a promising first season, defensive coordinator Dom Capers is optimistic about the futures of both Randall and Rollins.

Randall played in 15 games (nine starts), while Rollins played in 14 (four starts). They combined to defend 20 passes, five of which were intercepted. Both rookie cornerbacks recorded a pick-six this past season.
Cornerback is one of Green Bay's strongest positional units, with veteran Sam Shields leading the way. If the Packers let Casey Hayward walk in free agency, Randall or Rollins could easily step in as the starter on the opposite side. Behind them there's also Ladarius Gunter, who made the team as an outstanding undrafted rookie in 2015.
Whatever the team decides to do, fielding quality coverage experts should not be a problem for the Packers next season.
