Copenhagen, Denmark – Denmark coach Morten Olsen has extended his contract with the team to run through the 2014 World Cup.
Olsen's deal was set to expire in 2012, but he has now signed on to help the team reach the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 after helping the Danes qualify for Euro 2012.
The 62-year-old made over 100 appearances as a player for Denmark and he has guided the team to 64 wins in 123 matches as coach.
Olsen has coached Denmark since 2000 and helped the team qualify for two World Cups and Euro 2004 in addition to next summer's competition.
