Tulsa, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Nic Moore scored 23 points with seven assists and No. 23 SMU grabbed a 68-57 win over Tulsa on Saturday night.

Cannen Cunningham supplied 16 points off the bench and Yanick Moreira added 13 points with 13 rebounds for the Mustangs (19-5, 10-2 AAC), who bounced back from a home loss to Cincinnati on Thursday for their ninth win in 10 tries.

The Golden Hurricane (17-6, 10-1) had their 12-game winning streak snapped.

James Woodard and D'Andre Wright had 15 and 10 points, respectively, in the setback.

The Golden Hurricane used a 9-2 run to tie the game at 43-43 just before the second media timeout of the second half.

Cunningham scored the next six points to help the Mustangs regain the advantage. His personal spurt was part of a 15-0 run that put the game away.

Brandon Swannegan made a pair of free throws that stopped a 7:24 scoring drought for Tulsa, but it was too late as SMU got back in the win column.

Tulsa went up early, then Moore scored the first five points for SMU as it took an 8-4 lead. Wright dropped in a 3-pointer for Tulsa minutes later to tie the game at 16-16.

The Mustangs went on a 10-3 run that Moreira capped with a layup for a 28-21 lead, but the Golden Hurricanes worked their way back to within two late in the half.

Moore lobbed an alley-oop up to Ryan Manuel in the closing seconds to put the visitors up 34-28 at halftime.
