BLOEMFONTEIN (Reuters) - Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has put his faith in strike pair Eren Derdiyok and Blaise Nkufo for Friday's crunch World Cup Group H match with Honduras at the Free State stadium.
Team captain Alexander Frei will start on the bench, while Tranquillo Barnetta replaces the suspended Valon Behrami. Imposing center back Philippe Senderos remains sidelined with an ankle injury so Steve von Bergen continues to deputise.
Honduras coach Reinaldo Rueda makes six changes to the side that lost 2-0 to European champions Spain last time out. Prolific striker Carlos Pavon is again named as a substitute.
Switzerland need to beat bottom-placed Honduras by a two-goal margin to guarantee a place in the second round. A draw would be enough if Spain lose to Chile in Friday's other game.
