Kicking off the critical day of National Signing Day on the right foot, Tennessee lands the commitment of U.S. Army All-American safety Nigel Warrior. Warrior commits to the Volunteers over Auburn, Alabama, Georgia and LSU. Warrior is the son of former Tennessee All-American and NFL player Dale Carter.

Tennessee now has earned commitments from one of the best collection of defensive backs in the nation with Warrior, Tyler Byrd, Baylen Buchanan and early enrollees Marquill Osborne and D.J. Henderson. In an interesting note, Buchanan and Warrior were high school teammates along with 2017 five-star recruit DeAngelo Gibbs, who is Warrior's cousin.

The Vols have now added two of the best defensive back prospects in the nation over the last 12 hours, as Miami native and fellow U.S. Army All-American Tyler Byrd flipped from the Hurricanes to Tennessee.
