Penn State football will have new coordinators on each side of the ball in 2016.

While much attention has gone to the offensive side regarding what new coach Joe Moorhead can do to fix a broken unit, just as crucial will be how Brent Pry transitions to coordinator of a defense that was a strength during the first two years of James Franklin's tenure as head coach.

In a radio interview Pry recently identified some of the things he wants to find out about his team this offseason via StateCollege.com.

Pry will have to replace three standout defensive linemen, a starting linebacker and two starters from the secondary, but he said he feels better about the depth of the 2016 Nittany Lions than previous squads.

Penn State begins spring practice March 18.
