On the eve of No. 6 Texas A&M's massive game against No. 1 Alabama, the ongoing Johnny Manziel saga has taken another spin.

A new photo apparently shows Manziel signing an autograph in front of Drew Tieman, the memorabilia broker at the center of the Texas A&M quarterback's alleged pay-for-autographs controversy.

ESPN's Darren Rovell sent out the photo Friday via Twitter:

ESPN has obtained a picture of Johnny Manziel signing in autograph broker Drew Tieman's apartment http://t.co/568H1AoVi0

-- darren rovell (@darrenrovell) September 13, 2013 A story published with the photo on ESPN.com said that two sources confirmed the image -- the first to physically show Manziel signing for Tieman -- was legitimate.

Tieman was named in reports last month, also by ESPN, that suggested Manziel had accepted money in exchange for signing over a thousand memorabilia items. The NCAA has found no concrete evidence tying Manziel to payments and suspended him for the first half of the Aggies' season opener against Rice.

Texas A&M and Alabama kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

This wasn't the only way in which Manziel's autograph resurfaced in the last 24 hours. He evidently treated his offensive line to dinner at one of College Station's fancier establishments Thursday evening, and the dinner party left a nice souvenir for the staff.

Maybe Johnny needs to brush up again on this helpful chart .
