Palermo, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Napoli will continue its pursuit of a top-two place in Serie A on Saturday when the club visits Palermo in search of a fifth successive league victory.

A run of four straight wins in Serie A has allowed Napoli to close to within four points of second-place Roma, while the club has already moved past Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Lazio in pursuit of a Champions League place.

That winning run has moved Napoli seven points clear in the race for the third and final Champions League spot, but the club isn't just content with third place.

Napoli's next five games in league play come against sides that currently sit no higher than eighth in the table, meaning Rafael Benitez's team has a good chance to keep its winning run going.

Gonzalo Higuain has scored three times during the four-game stretch, while Napoli hasn't allowed more than one goal in a game since its 3-1 defeat to Juventus on Jan. 11.

Palermo, meanwhile, has recorded one win in its last five fixtures, including a 3-0 defeat at Inter Milan last weekend.

Roma snapped a string of four successive draws by winning 2-1 at Cagliari last weekend, allowing the capital club to remain within seven points of leaders Juventus, and the team returns home to tangle with last-place Parma, while Juventus visits second-from-the-bottom Cesena in search of a fifth win in six league outings.

Fiorentina enters the weekend seven points back of Napoli for third place but the Viola will be eager to extend their five-game unbeaten streak with a win on Saturday at Sassuolo.

Sampdoria occupies the other Europa League place along with Fiorentina and the club also hits the road to face Chievo, which sits only three points above the relegation places.

Lazio has fallen out of the top five after a run of three defeats in four Serie A games, and the club will try to bounce back with a win at Udinese.

AC Milan continues to struggle in the middle of the table and the Rossoneri welcomes Empoli to the San Siro, Inter Milan visits Atalanta, Hellas Verona tangles with Genoa and Torino entertains Cagliari.
