Panama City, Panama – Moruti Mthalane scored an eighth-round technical knockout of Ricardo Nunez to retain his IBF flyweight title on Saturday.
Mthalane (29-2) dropped Nunez (24-3) in the eighth round and the fight was called at the 2:41 mark.
It was Mthalane's fourth straight successful title defense.
