Moore again selected as WNBA's Rookie of the Month

New York, NY – Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore has again been named the WNBA Rookie of the Month.

Moore, who also captured the monthly honor for July, averaged 12.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 13 August games. She helped Minnesota to an 11-2 mark for the month.

The former UConn star was the first overall pick in the 2011 draft. She is averaging over 12.8 points and 4.6 rebounds this season.
