MLS suspends and fines San Jose's Busch

Major League Soccer announced Wednesday that San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Jon Busch has been suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount for aggressively retrieving a ball in second-half stoppage time of the club's match against Sporting Kansas City on May 27.

Busch will serve his suspension June 20 when the 'Quakes head to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to face the Colorado Rapids.

Fines collected will donated to the charitable arm of MLS and the MLS Player Union.
