Starkville, MS (SportsNetwork.com) - Mississippi State linebacker Benardrick McKinney has made the decision to forgo his senior season and declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.

McKinney, a top inside linebacker prospect, led the Bulldogs with 142 tackles over the past two seasons.

"I have decided to enter the NFL Draft and look forward to the next chapter," McKinney said in a press release. "It's been a privilege to be a part of one of the best teams in school history. Mississippi State has developed me into the player I am today, and I will always be part of the Bulldog family."

The first team All-American compiled 244 tackles, 7 1/2 sacks and six fumble recoveries in 39 games (36 starts) over the course of his collegiate career.
