Martin Jones solid in goal in Sharks' loss

Martin Jones was the main reason the San Jose Sharks were able to extend the Stanley Cup Finals to six games.

The third-year goalie kept it close in Game 6 on Sunday night, too, though he never got the help needed to send the series back to Pittsburgh.

The Sharks' first appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals ended with a 3-1 loss to the Penguins.

Jones made 24 saves, while his teammates mustered 19 shots on Matthew Murray.

The Sharks once again fell behind early, giving up a power-play goal, and never recovered. Jones was left to fend for himself.
