ORONO, Maine (AP) Drew Belcher threw for 109 yards and ran for a touchdown to lead Maine to a 23-10 win over Stony Brook on Saturday.

Belcher also led in rushing with 65 yards for the Black Bears (3-4, 3-1 Colonial Athletic Association). Trevor Bates scored on a 34-yard fumble recovery and Sean Decloux kicked three field goals.

Maine trailed 10-3 at the break but recovered a Stony Brook fumble late in the third quarter, setting up Belcher's 2-yard touchdown run five plays later to even the score, 10-10.

Decloux hit two field goals in the fourth quarter to put the Black Bears on top, 16-10, and Bates' fumble recovery for a touchdown with 4:16 to play sealed the win.

The Maine defense sacked Stony Brook's Conor Bednarski four times and held the Seawolves (2-4, 1-4) to just 10 yards rushing.

Bednarski finished with 106 yards passing and a touchdown.
