Arnhem, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Adam Maher scored in the 10th minute and PSV Eindhoven held on for a 1-0 win at Vitesse on Saturday that keeps the club four points clear at the top of the Eredivisie.

After Ajax won 2-0 over Groningen on Friday, PSV entered its match with Vitesse holding only a one-point advantage on the defending champions.

And things started well for the visitors as a flick from Luuk de Jong was kept out by goalkeeper Eloy Room, allowing Maher to follow up the play and fire a shot off the post before scoring on the rebound.

Room did well to deny a free kick from Memphis Depay before the break, while Vitesse was fortunate to remain within a goal after a shot from De Jong struck the post.

Vitesse then put some strong pressure on the PSV defense over the final 20 minutes of the contest, but the closest the home side came to an equalizer was a tight-angle shot from Renato Ibarra that came back off the post.

Zwolle rolled to a 4-1 win over struggling NAC with three goals in the span of 10 second-half minutes as Jesper Drost, Jody Lukoki and Ben Rienstra each found the net for the hosts, who climb into third place with the victory.

Dordrecht's dreadful campaign continued on Saturday with a 2-0 defeat at fifth-place AZ Alkmaar thanks to goals from Simon Poulsen and Nemanja Gudelj, handing the last-place side its 13th loss in 18 league matches.

Saturday's other fixture saw Den Haag and Cambuur battle to a 2-2 draw as Cambuur's Bartholomew Ogbeche scored a goal in each half, including the equalizer 12 minutes from time.
