Lyon fell behind early in the second half but stormed back to claim a comfortable win in the end, defeating 10-man Troyes 4-1 at the Stade de Gerland on Saturday.

Jean Christophe Bahebeck gave promoted Troyes a shock lead in the 47th minute.

Lyon responded well though, as Bafetimbi Gomis leveled the score in the 50th minute following Lisandro Lopez's miss from the penalty spot.

The match began to weigh heavily in Lyon's favor as Michel Bastos scored in the 65th minute and Troyes' Julien Faussurier was sent off in the 68th minute.

The home side took advantage of the extra man as Lopez put the win beyond any doubt by adding a third goal two minutes from time.

Gomis completed his brace late on, wrapping up the affair in stoppage time.

Lyon is perfect through its first two matches of the season, taking six points from a possible six after opening the campaign with a 1-0 defeat of Rennes.

Troyes has yet to claim a point in Ligue 1, losing both of its matches by a combined score of 5-1.

Bastia 2, Reims 1

Furiani, France - Ilan scored in second-half stoppage time on Saturday to help Bastia claim a 2-1 win over nine-man Reims at the Stade Armand-Cesari.

Nicolas Fauvergue handed the visitors an early lead, but they were went down a man after Anthony Weber was sent off in the 59th minute. Anthony Modeste, on loan from Bordeaux, converted a penalty kick shortly after to level the score.

Reims' Mickael Tacalfred was sent off eight minutes from time, giving Bastia enough time to claim a winner with two extra men as Ilan struck late to claim all three points for the home side.

Brest 1, Evian 0

Brest, France - Brest left it late on Saturday, edging Evian 1-0 in dramatic fashion thanks to a late goal from Paul Baysse.

Baysse's goal, which came in the 90th minute, sees Brest bounce back from its opening match of the season, which it lost 1-0 at Nancy.

Evian has lost both of its matches thus far after falling to Bordeaux last time out.

Lorient 2, Montpellier 1

Lorient, France - Lorient claimed a dramatic win over the reigning Ligue 1 champions on Saturday, scoring twice in the dying minutes to edge Montpellier, 2-1.

Emanuel Herrera's first-half goal looked to be enough for Montpellier to take all three points.

But Lorient left it late, getting goals from Alain Traore and Jeremie Aliadiere to improve to four points through two games.

Toulouse 2, St. Etienne 1

Toulouse, France - Toulouse scored on either side of halftime to clinch a 2-1 victory over St. Etienne at the Stade Municipal de Toulouse on Saturday.

Etienne Capoue opened the scoring in the 35th minute before Wissam Ben Yedder doubled the lead in the 59th minute.

Max Gradel converted a late penalty for St. Etienne, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation goal.

Valenciennes 0, Nice 0

Valenciennes, France - Nice earned its first point of the season, holding on to a 0-0 draw with Valenciennes at the Stade du Hainaut on Saturday.

The result helps Nice bounce back from its opening match of the season when it was beaten at home by Ajaccio, but it also preserves Valenciennes' unbeaten start to the new season after its road defeat of promoted Troyes last time out.
