Utrecht, Netherlands – Erwin Koeman has stepped down as coach of Utrecht, and Jan Wouters was named his replacement Tuesday.
Koeman, a former Netherlands international, just took over the Dutch side this season, but disputes with club management led to his departure. Wouters played for the Dutch national team with Koeman.
Utrecht has three wins, three losses and three draws from nine matches in the Eredivisie this season.
