Rome, Italy – Miroslav Klose scored three minutes into injury 1, at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday in Italy's Serie A to win the Rome derby.
Pablo Daniel Osvaldo scored the opening goal after six minutes for Roma, but a red card to Simon Kjaer five minutes after half set up Hernanes' penalty kick, and Klose scored his fourth of the season to give Lazio the victory.
Lazio won its third match through six matches and moved to within one point of Juventus and Udinese, who are both on 12 points atop the league. Roma is four points off the pace.
Roma got off to a perfect start when Osvaldo chested down a pass from Miralem Pjanic, let the ball bounce once, then sent a half-volley into the lower right just 6 minutes into the match.
Lazio equalized early after halftime when Christian Brocchi was fouled in the area by Kjaer, who was ejected and the penalty was awarded. Hernanes converted from 12 yards, and after some missed chances, Klose delivered.
Klose and Djibril Cisse both found the post over the next 40 minutes, then the match-winner came with seconds later in stoppage time when Francesco Matuzalem found Klose just inside the area, and the German striker scored to the corner.

Novara suffered its first defeat at home on Sunday and owns only one point from its last three games.

Cesena, Italy - Cesena is the only team in Serie A yet to record a win after the club was held to a 0-0 draw by Fiorentina on Sunday.
Cesena has now played in two successive scoreless draws, although the team was a bit unlucky not to find the net on Sunday.
Roberto Guana struck the crossbar from 30 yards in the first half, while Cesena was denied by the woodwork again after the break when Antonio Candreva's deflected shot hit the crossbar.
Fiorentina played up a man for the final 20 minutes when Adrian Mutu was sent off for Cesena, but the Viola failed to take advantage.

Both teams squandered chances in the first half before a second yellow card to Udinese's Giampiero Pinzi in the 63rd minute handed the hosts a good opportunity to snatch all three points.
But goalkeeper Samir Handanovic did well to keep out the home side, which saw two efforts from Simone Tiribocchi tipped past the post by the 'keeper to preserve the draw.

Cagliari, Italy - Cagliari moved into third place in Serie A on Sunday despite being held to a 0-0 draw by Siena.
Cagliari dominated the majority of the play but Siena goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic did well to preserve his clean sheet, keeping out a pair of shots from Alessandro Agostini during an early period of pressure.
Genoa 0, Lecce 0
Genoa, Italy - Lecce avoided a fourth straight defeat on Sunday by claiming a point at Genoa in a 0-0 draw.
Genoa had the better chances over the course of the match and nearly broke the deadlock in the 64th minute when Cristobal Jorquera's shot beat goalkeeper Massimiliano Benassi, but came back off the post.
The offensive surge was stunted, however, by the sending off of Genoa's Kakha Kaladze, who was booked for a foul and picked up another yellow card for dissent.
