The Sacramento Kings claimed forward Travis Outlaw off waivers under the NBA's new amnesty waiver procedure.

Outlaw was waived by the New Jersey Nets on December 15 and designated as the team's amnesty player.

Outlaw played in all 82 games -- 55 starts -- with the Nets last season, averaging 9.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 28.8 minutes per game.

In 482 career games with the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Jersey, Outlaw has averaged 9.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
