Stanton Kidd made 11 of 14 shots from the field en route to 23 points and Ray Willis hit all 13 of his free-throw attempts to help North Carolina Central pull away from Bethune-Cookman 75-66 Monday in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play.

Willis finished with 26 points for NC Central, which shot 54.5 percent (24 of 44). The Eagles (10-7, 3-0) have shot 56 percent (114 of 203) during their four-game winning streak.

NC Central scored the first the first seven points of the second half to jump ahead 35-32. Bethune-Cookman's Alex Smith tied the game at 40 with a dunk but the Eagles used a 15-5 run over the next 5 minutes to pull away.

Kidd's dunk with 6:04 remaining made it 55-45 and Willis scored 10 of NC Central's last 16 points to seal the win.

Adrien Coleman led Bethune-Cookman (6-12, 1-2) with 18 points.
