Massachusetts senator John Kerry is best-known for his run as the Democratic nominee for President in 2004, but the former Vietnam vet and six-term Senator is also an avid lifelong hockey fan, at one point playing on the junior varsity team while he was at Yale.

Kerry will join E.J. Hradek and Bill Pidto on NHL Live Wednesday to discuss hockey as well as the chances of his Bruins as they currently trail the Canucks 2-1 in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final.

NHL Live is shown every weekday from 4-6 ET on NHL Network and is also streamed live on NHL.com.

In addition to Sen. Kerry, the NHL Live crew will also be visited by legendary coach Scotty Bowman and NBC and TSN analyst Pierre McGuire for their takes on the Bruins and Canucks. Hradek and Pidto will also give viewers a host of preview information and analysis ahead of tonight's Game 4 at TD Garden in Boston.
