If it seems like everyone has an opinion on Jim Harbaugh's plan to take Michigan's football team to Florida for spring practice, there is probably good reason.

After all, the topics involved include, "Jim Harbaugh," "football" and "the NCAA," and these days almost everyone has an opinion on all of those things, right?

So it came as little surprise Tuesday that Jim's brother, John, told WTKA radio "it's kind of funny" to see how the SEC, ACC and NCAA president Mark Emmert have responded to Michigan's plans.

The coach of the Baltimore Ravens went on to say he was "shocked" Emmert stated his opposition and added, "I think people need to lighten up a little bit, enjoy it."

Regardless of the reaction, all signs point to Jim Harbaugh plowing ahead with his plans.

The school confirmed last week when it announced plans to hold a prime-time spring game on April 1 that spring practice will begin in Bradenton, Fla., on Feb. 29.
