Jacksonville, FL – The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed defensive end Aaron Kampman on injured reserve.
Kampman played just three games this season. He was bothered by a knee issue early this year after suffering a setback following a torn ACL that limited him to just eight games in 2010, and has also been bothered by a hamstring problem.
The Jaguars promoted tight end Colin Cloherty from the practice squad to the active roster. Cloherty, who has also spent time with Indianapolis, Cleveland and San Francisco, signed with Jacksonville's practice squad November 14.
In addition, Jacksonville also waived rookie defensive end Marc Schiechl from injured reserve and signed defensive end Jammie Kirlew to the practice squad.
