Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Marqise Lee won't play Sunday against Indianapolis because of a hamstring injury.
Lee started the first two games of the season and is tied for the team lead with eight receptions. He was bothered by a hamstring issue last week and played against Washington, then was limited in practice Wednesday because of the injury.
"We want to make sure I'm 100 percent before I come back and try to do anything," said Lee on Wednesday.
Lee was selected by the Jaguars in the second round of May's draft.
The Jaguars' top two receiving threats will miss the club's home opener on Sunday, as tight end Marcedes Lewis was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return earlier this week.
Lewis, who also has eight catches this season, is expected to be sidelined for the next 6-to-8 weeks with a high ankle sprain he sustained last week against the Redskins.
