After struggling in short-yardage situations in Jacksonville's last game, Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart was a healthy scratch for Sunday's game agains the New York Jets.
Gerhart, Jacksonville's third-down back, failed on convert on four straight carries from the one-yard line in the team's 34-31 win over the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 25.
In five games this season, Gerhart has carried the ball 20 times for 44 yards.
