Glasgow, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Inverness saw its unbeaten start to the Scottish Premier League season come to an end on Saturday as the club sustained a 3-1 defeat at Partick Thistle.

Aaron Doran opened the scoring after 13 minutes for Inverness as he found the bottom right corner of the net following a pass from David Raven.

But Partick turned things around quickly and was back on level terms six minutes later when Steven Lawless dashed into the penalty area and curled a shot past goalkeeper Dean Brill, marking the first goal that Inverness has conceded this season.

Brill was picking the ball out of his own net again in the 23rd as Kallum Higginbotham's corner kick was headed home by Abdul Osman, while Higginbotham put the result away for Partick 18 minutes from time by getting on the other end of a well-weighted ball from Lawless to fire home Partick's third goal.

Hamilton moved to the top of the league on goal difference following a 2-2 draw at Dundee United on Saturday that saw all four goals as well as one red apiece for each side occur in a wild first half.

Celtic got goals from Jason Denayer and Kris Commons in a 2-1 victory over Aberdeen, Kilmarnock's 2-1 win against St Mirren keeps the Saints without a point, Thomas Konrad's 26th-minute goal was enough for Dundee FC in a 1-0 triumph at St Johnstone, while Ross County props up the table having lost its first six games following a 2-1 setback at home against Motherwell.
