NEW YORK (Reuters) - The injury-hit New York Rangers acquired Polish forward Wojtek Wolski from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Czech defenseman Michal Rozsival, the NHL team said on Monday.

The 24-year-old Wolski, Colorado's first-round pick in the 2004 Entry Draft, had six goals and 10 assists in 36 games for Phoenix this season.

His acquisition comes a day after the Rangers, already without forwards Ryan Callahan and Erik Christensen, said they would be without forward Alex Frolov because of a season-ending knee injury.

Rozsival, 32, signed as a free agent by New York in 2005, recorded three goals and 12 assists in 32 games with the Rangers this season.
