Jake Locker believes the best way to be a leader is by doing, not talking. It's why the Titans quarterback worked so hard on his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery to be ready for the team's offseason program.

So when the Titans start their organized team activities next week, Locker will be ready to throw without limitations.

Locker said Tuesday he is exactly where he expected to be approximately 20 weeks after surgery on his left, non-throwing shoulder. He dislocated the shoulder repeatedly his first season as a starter and says he's now figured out how to take care of his body and be ready to go.

The quarterback is heading into his third season with the Titans having added several players to help him succeed.
