London, England – Belgium international Eden Hazard is set to join Chelsea this summer, as the 21-year-old has selected the Champions League winners over English rivals Manchester City and Manchester United.
Hazard notched 20 goals for Lille last season to finish one goal off the top of the scoring chart in France's Ligue 1, cementing his status as one of the most coveted players in the world.
He was voted the Ligue 1 Players' Player of the Year for the second successive season, and has already been capped 27 times for Belgium.
"I'm signing for the Champions League winner," Hazard said Monday on Twitter.
Chelsea defeated Bayern Munich on penalties in the Champions League final May 19. Although Chelsea has made no official announcement, Hazard's transfer fee will reportedly be in the region of $40 million.
