The most intriguing match of the weekend takes place on Saturday at the Bay Arena as second-place Bayer Leverkusen hosts fourth-place Schalke with the two sides separated by six points.
Leverkusen is 13 points adrift of Bayern, so keeping hold of second place will be the club's top priority the rest of the season, while Schalke is battling to remain in the top four with a four-point advantage on fifth-place Monchengladbach.
Borussia Dortmund resides in third place and will host Eintracht on Saturday, Monchengladbach travels to Werder Bremen, Stuttgart tries to snap a five-game losing streak when the club invades Hoffenheim, Nurnberg is one point from safety and takes on Augsburg while Hertha Berlin entertains Wolfsburg.
