Stuttgart, Germany – Stuttgart announced on Monday that midfielder Tamas Hajnal has signed a new contract with the club that keeps him there until 2014.
Hajnal arrived at Stuttgart on loan from Borussia Dortmund during the 2010-11 campaign and secured a permanent move following that season.
The 31-year-old started 30 games in the Bundesliga last term for Stuttgart and has appeared in 10 league matches this season for the team, which sits in ninth place in the Bundesliga.
"I am delighted Tamas prolonged his contract. He is good for the team," Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic said. "He is an outstanding team player, who puts team success above everything else."
