(SportsNetwork.com) - The Memphis Grizzlies try to stay on track when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers Friday at Staples Center.

The Grizzlies will visit the Denver Nuggets on this short trip and have a 10-4 record away from home this season.

Memphis has won back-to-back games following a four-game slide and recorded a 95-87 triumph over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. Mike Conley finished with 30 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Marc Gasol chipped in 17 points and nine boards for the Grizzlies.

"We executed defensively," Gasol said. "Offensively I think we did a pretty good job of moving the ball."

The Grizzlies led 30-20 after the first quarter and held the defending champion Spurs to 18 points in the second stanza. They made 48.6 percent from the floor and played without forward Zach Randolph for a fifth straight game due to a sore knee.

Randolph is questionable Friday and Gasol is probable with an illness. Z-Bo is posting an average of 16.1 points and 11.4 rebounds, while Gasol averages 20.1 points and 8.3 boards.

Memphis has won eight of its last 12 games and is fifth in opponents' scoring at 97.2 ppg.

The Lakers won for the second time in the last eight tries with Tuesday's 111-103 triumph over the Nuggets, as Kobe Bryant recorded a triple-double of 23 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds.

It was Bryant's 21st career triple-double.

"Very very efficient ... an old-school Oscar Robertson style," said Bryant, who is fourth in the NBA with 24.1 ppg.

Carlos Boozer scored 19 points, Ronnie Price added 18 and Wesley Johnson added 16 points for Los Angeles, which shot 52.6 percent.

Los Angeles is 4-11 at home and will also host Indiana on the stay.

The Lakers are last in opponents' scoring at 109.0 ppg and hope to have Ed Davis Friday versus the Grizzlies. Davis (broken nose) is probable.

LA is 0-2 against Memphis this season and will visit FedExForum March 6. The Grizzlies have won four in a row and eight of the last 10 games in this series. Memphis is unbeaten in its last three road games in this series.
