East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Giants placed linebacker Jacquian Williams and offensive lineman James Brewer on injured reserve Tuesday.

Williams started each of the first nine games at weakside linebacker before suffering a concussion at Seattle on Nov. 9. He had 78 tackles this season.

The 26-year-old Williams has 244 tackles and two sacks in 51 career games with the Giants.

Brewer played in only two games this season.

Williams and Brewer increase the number of Giants players on injured reserve to 22.

New York also signed defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton off the practice squad and signed offensive lineman Adam Gettis off the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad. In addition, defensive back Thomas Gordon was signed to the practice squad.
