Chip Ganassi Racing returns to the Rolex 24 at Daytona as the reigning champions. The bid to repeat will be a daunting task.

Ganassi is fielding four cars for 14 drivers in two different classes this year. He will have his two Daytona Prototypes, including the No. 02 "star car" that won last year's race, and then retire them from competition.

From there, the focus will be strictly on two full-time GTLM's for the Ford GT production program. The change is made as Ganassi will lead Ford's effort to return to Le Mans 50 years after it went 1-2-3 in the GT40 in 1966.

The race begins Saturday.
