Coming off its first loss of the season, TCU wanted to get off to a quick start Saturday against winless Kansas, and freshman Kavontae Turner obliged with his first career punt return for a touchdown.
The wide receiver and kick return specialist took it 49 yards, dodging, darting and spinning past would-be tacklers into the end zone.
TCU (8-1, 5-1) still has a shot to claim a share of the Big 12 title.
