NEWPORT, Rhode Island (Reuters) - American Mardy Fish will play Belgian fourth seed Olivier Rochus in the final of the Newport International after both players recorded straight set semi-final wins over unseeded players on Saturday.

Fifth seed Fish accounted for Richard Bloomfield 7-6 6-4, after the Briton hit three double-faults and a backhand volley long to concede a break at 4-4 in the second set.

The 64th-ranked Rochus cruised to a 6-3 6-2 win over Argentine Brian Dabul in just 87 minutes and has not dropped a set in the tournament.

Sunday's final will be the third meeting between Rochus and Fish, who have split the previous two.

"I feel great about my chances tomorrow," said Fish, ranked 79th. "Any time you can win four or five matches in a week, you like your chances. You can't bluff your way into a final. I'll enjoy myself as I enjoy coming here."
