Rotterdam, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Feyenoord reclaimed third place in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday thanks to a 3-1 home defeat of Twente.

Things looked grim for the hosts after Kazim Kazim-Richards failed to convert a 36th-minute penalty, but Lex Immers scored immediately after to break the deadlock.

Orlando Engelaar pulled one back for Twente just six minutes into the second half, but the visitors were level for just eight minutes as Jens Toornstra provided the go-ahead in the 59th.

Jean-Paul Boetius tacked on a third just three minutes later, bringing Feyenoord to 34 points on the season.

Heerenveen staved off some late pressure to come away from Utrecht with a 2-1 victory.

Goals from Luciano Slagveer and Sam Larsson put the visitors in a comfortable position, and while a 90th-minute from Willem Janssen brought Utrecht back to within one, Heerenveen managed to grind out the win and move to 25 points, two points better than Utrecht.

Robert Braber netted the lone goal in Willem II's 1-0 of 10-man Go Ahead Eagles and Excelsior cruised to a 3-0 victory at Heracles thanks to goals from Tom van Weert, Daryl van Mieghem and Carlo De Reuver.
