LISBON, Portugal (AP) Estoril midfielder Afonso Taira scored six minutes into stoppage time to snatch a 2-2 draw with Rio Ave in a Portuguese league match both teams finished with 10 men on Saturday.

Estoril played a man down from the 16th when striker Leo Bonatini saw a direct red card for a tackle. Marvin Zeegelaar gave Rio Ave the lead a minute before halftime before Diego Carlos leveled for Estoril in the 56th.

Rio Ave lost Anibal Capela to a second booking in the 78th, but appeared to have gotten the winner through Helder Guedes in the 88th, only for Taira to strike before the final whistle.

Third-place Rio Ave failed to pull level on points with leader FC Porto and second-place Sporting Lisbon. Estoril was left sixth.

''We were close to getting a different result,'' said Rio Ave coach Pedro Martins. ''Estoril was extremely efficient.''

Elsewhere, Pacos Ferreira won 2-0 at Maritimo to move into a provisional fourth place.

Pacos Ferreira got on first-half goals from Barnes Osei and Diogo Jota. Maritimo finished with 10 men after Tiago Rodrigues saw a red card in the 90th, while Pacos Ferreira could have added another goal but goalie Romain Salin saved Joao Silva's spot kick.

Guimaraes also salvaged a 1-1 draw with Academica despite finishing with nine men.
