Erding extends PSG contract

Paris, France – PSG striker Mevlut Erding has extended his stay at the club by one year, signing an extension on Friday that keeps him in Paris until 2014.

Erding arrived at PSG in June 2009 from Sochaux and he netted 15 goals in his first campaign before seeing his production dip last season.

The 24-year-old tallied only eight goals for PSG last term, and after the arrival of Kevin Gameiro and Javier Pastore over the summer, Erding has been limited to five substitute appearances this season in seven games.
