New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw was named National League Pitcher of the Month on Tuesday after throwing his first career no-hitter in June.

Kershaw won all six of his starts, had an 0.82 ERA and struck out 61 batters in 44 innings in the month.

The two-time Cy Young Award winner no-hit Colorado on June 18, striking out a career-high 15 without a walk.

Jake Arrieta of the Cubs and rookie Jesse Hahn of the Padres also received votes.
