Newly crowned 2011 Stanley Cup champions Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas and Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins will be guests on NBC's "Today" Show on Friday, bringing along a special guest -- the Stanley Cup.

Following their 8:30 a.m. ET chat with Ann Curry, Lester Holt and Savannah Guthrie in Rockefeller Plaza, the champs will make their way to the NHL® Powered by Reebok Store on the corner of West 47th St. and 6th Ave. for a special Q&A session, hosted by E.J. Hradek of the NHL Network.

Thomas recorded the shutout Wednesday night in Boston's 4-0 win over the Vancouver Canucks in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final and also picked up the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. Bergeron scored a pair of goals in Game 7, including the Cup clincher, and Chara -- as team captain -- was the first to lift the Bruins' first Cup in 39 years.

Fans in attendance at the event will be able to submit questions for consideration at the NHL Store. Questions also will be accepted via Twitter (@NHL) between the hours of 7-9 a.m. on Friday. Answers to questions submitted via Twitter will be posted to the @NHL account post-event.
