Cardinals place LB Porter on injured reserve

Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals have placed linebacker Joey Porter on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Porter has not played since Week 7, and in six games this season he posted 16 tackles and one sack.

Also on Wednesday, the Cardinals elevated linebacker Brandon Williams to the active roster and re-signed running back William Powell to the practice squad.

Williams, who appeared in six games for Dallas last season, has been on the Cardinals' practice squad since November 22.
