SYDNEY (AP) Football Federation Australia says Australia will play its World Cup qualifier against Kyrgyzstan in Canberra on Nov. 12.

The match, at GIO Stadium, will be the Australian team's first in the nation's capital since 2011 when it beat Malaysia in a friendly international.

Australia beat Kyrgyzstan 2-1 in Bishkek on June 17 and Bangladesh 5-0 at Perth on Thursday to lead Group B of the Asia World Cup qualifying series. It will play Tajikistan in Dushanbe on Tuesday, then will have a month's break before facing second-placed Jordan at Irbid on Oct. 8.

FFA said Monday the match against Kyrgyzstan, the the fifth in its qualifying schedule, will be followed by a match against Bangladesh at Dhaka on Nov. 17.
