Alec Burks scored 12 points and Derrick Favors added 10 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Utah Jazz to a 92-73 exhibition victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

Utah dominated around the basket and in transition in the preseason opener for both teams. The Jazz had a 52-45 rebounding edge and a 42-28 advantage in points in the paint. Utah also led the Blazers 18-10 in fast-break points

Will Barton scored 12 points for the Blazers, and reserve Chris Kaman had 10 points and seven rebounds.
