New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and Miami kick returner Jarvis Landry have been selected as the AFC's top players for the month of October.

Brady completed 69.4 percent of his passes for 1,268 yards with 14 touchdowns and no interceptions to capture the offensive award for a seventh time. He led New England to four wins during the month, passing for at least two scores and a rating of better than 100.0 in each game.

Miller was tabbed as the top defensive player for the second time in his career after posting seven sacks with 14 tackles, 10 of which went for a loss, to help Denver to four wins. He notched two sacks in three of his four games and has recorded at least one sack in six straight games.

Landry picked up the special teams honor after averaging 35.6 yards on five kickoff returns. He leads the NFL with an average of 31.3 yards on kickoff returns this season and also posted 13 catches for 144 yards in three games in October.
