Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Despite being selected to his first All- Star Game, Sergei Bobrovsky won't get to be part of the fun in his own home city.

On Thursday, the Blue Jackets revealed that their starting goaltender was felled by a lower-body injury during Wednesday's 4-0 loss in Winnipeg and, as a result, won't partake in the festivities this weekend.

There is not timetable for his return.

Bobrovsky holds a 16-15-2 record, 2.85 goals-against average, .913 save percentage and one shutout in 33 games this season. He was named the NHL's Third Star of the Month for December after going 9-1-1 with a 2.13 GAA, .937 save percentage in 11 appearances.
