Washington, D.C. (SportsNetwork.com) - St. Louis Blues defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk left Sunday's game against the Washington Capitals with a lower- body injury.
Shattenkirk departed the game just 4:33 in after colliding with Washington's Alex Ovechkin.
The All-Star has eight goals and 32 assists this season with St. Louis, his fifth in the NHL.
