Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green will not play in Sunday's AFC Wild Card game against Indianapolis due to a concussion he sustained in the regular-season finale.

Green was not able to receive clearance from a neurologist, one of the steps needed to pass the NFL's concussion protocol for game participation.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of last Sunday's 27-17 loss at Pittsburgh, with the Bengals initially listing Green doubtful on Friday's injury report.

Green led Cincinnati with 69 receptions, 1,041 receiving yards and six touchdown catches during the regular season. He also missed the Bengals' meeting with the Colts back in Week 7 due to a toe injury, with Cincinnati being dealt a 27-0 defeat without its top wideout available.
