Chicago Bears outside linebacker Pernell McPhee plays with a controlled violence. The 6-foot-3, 275-pound defender is a tireless pass-rusher and a punishing tackler.

The Bears released a highlight video of McPhee's biggest plays from the 2015 season, complete with a tongue-in-cheek warning for the squeamish.

Via the team's official Twitter account:

The Bears signed McPhee to a five-year, $38.75 million deal last offseason with hopes that he would star on the edge of the team's new 3-4 defensive alignment. Even though he was hampered by wrist, shoulder and knee injuries throughout the season, he still stood out as the team's best defender. He finished with 53 tackles (42 solo), six sacks, a forced fumble and three defended passes (including an interception).

If he's able to stay healthy in 2016, McPhee should have no trouble recording the first double-digit sack total of his career.
